Optex Systems Announces Lionel Liebman as Director of Optical Engineering

RICHARDSON, TX / ACCESS Newswire / May 1, 2026 / Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:OPXS), a manufacturer of precision optical sighting systems, announced the appointment of Lionel Liebman as Director of Optical Engineering.

Mr. Liebman brings over 30 years of experience in commercial and defense optical systems. He will lead efforts to enhance existing products and support development of new technologies.

He holds four patents in fiber optics, photonics, lasers, and ladar technologies, and is an expert in electro-optic/infrared (EO/IR) systems. Most recently, he served as Senior Manager of Optical Engineering at Raytheon and previously held leadership and engineering roles at Lockheed Martin.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
